Once you've installed the application, a new item called VersionBox will appear in the menu that pops up when you right click. Once you've selected this option after right clicking on any project or folder, the current state of those files will be automatically backed up and saved as a ZIP file. The time and date this was done will also be saved.
Once those files have been created, they will be saved to a special folder called 'verbox.' Users can set a maximum limit of the backup copies that can be saved so that only the most recent copies get saved, for example.
Also, you'll be able to add a short description to each of these folders, detailing which particular version the file is or simply including some notes that you might find relevant.
VersionBox is a very useful tool for users that work with projects that require specific versions and lots of backups. It gives you access to a sophisticated way of backing up your files and easily recovering any of the previous versions.
